The completeness of our minds is essential to one’s personal function in the world. Dr. Sharon Marble has dedicated her life to helping people to better their functioning mentally and behaviorally. She completed her education and then was eager to get started learning as much as she could practically in order to begin helping people. She started work at the Mendota Mental Health Institute as a Medical Officer. This position was a moonlighting position. In this position, she had the opportunity to learn while making a difference because the facility was a State of Wisconsin mental health facility that housed both forensic as well as civil patients. By having both types of patients, she was able to expand her knowledge base vastly. After working at Mendota for two years, she then moved to Locum Tenens.com, a Maine correctional center. While she was only there for a short time, she still gleaned knowledge from the work she did there in order to better her services in the future. She then moved to Main Correctional Center in the Liberty Healthcare and Correctional Medical Services department. It was at this location, that Dr. Sharon Marble finally felt that she could learn the most while working with patients that she could help improve their mental health.
Dr. Sharon Marble worked almost seven years at Maine Correctional Center and then she went to work a short time at Kennebec Behavioral Health before starting her own practice. By running her own practice, she has been able to pursue her passion while keeping up much of her personal life interests such as traveling, pets and politics. |
